An exciting opportunity exists for volunteers to support Keith’s Closet Program

An exciting opportunity

Duties include:

• Sorting various types of clothing by size, fashion, and gender
• Restocking Keith’s Closet, ensuring its clean, tidy with all items clearly labelled
• Restocking and maintaining storage room ensuring the room is clean at all times
• Arranging donations and distribution via phone and email
• Drivers to deliver stock to facilities across NSW
• Facilitate fundraising events
• Bring your innovative ideas that will improve the delivery of our service
• Maintain social media platforms

Requirements:

• A shared vision of believing that everyone should have access to high-quality clothing and a home with the basic necessities
• Keen to experience the benefits of helping others and enjoying being part of an exciting team of enthusiastic people
• A commitment to supporting the various roles in maintaining the high standards of Keith’s Closet
• Have excellent communication skills, a good personality, and a caring nature
• Basic understanding of mental illness (training will be provided)
• A desire to work independently and as a team player
• Support and assist clients in finding clothing that makes them feel good about their appearance
